My first in-depth/polished ref sheet I've done for myself in nearly 5 years!

Man, ref sheets for yourself are WAY harder than ref sheets for others!

Oh my gosh I love the glasses you picked for her. In fact the whole middle outfit is a nice mix of casual and fashionable (I love open button-downs over t-shirts okay).

    • Link

Hey thank you! It wasn't too hard to pick my clothes, I was wearing exactly the outfit you see in the middle (sans the shoes in the house) when I started drawing this! Actually I own all of these clothes...pretty sure I was wearing those undergarments too lol. The human-type one is 100% myself with an animal layer, so no need for me to think too hard and what to wear or look like lol

A Betsy for every occasion! You crack me up lady!

Killer reff though! I really need to start doing mine with this much detail lol

    • Link

This at first seemed like a totally batshit amount of detail but in the end it ALL needed to be addressed I realized lol. Thanks so much Snap "Is your life a bore?? There's a Betsy for that!"

      • Link

I can totally understand that :D

Awesome ref sheet there Betsy, think I like the toony one the best! =)

    • Link

Thanks Foxy! I love the toon toom I was really amped up to get that version tied down and established.

  • Link

So many useful bits of information, and i LOVE the 'fourth wall' breaking annotations here and there.

really gets across your humour and personality too I find

    • Link

haha thanks Becky! I love my ref sheets to feel like they're being "examined" lol

So in other words, it's only summer 10% of the time in Maine? :)

    • Link

      YUP! Oh gawd, wintah.

      • Link

        They're wikkid hahd? :)

        • Link

          WIKKID HAHD, BUB

    • Link

10% of the time?!?! I wish summer was that long! It's use to be 3 days. Thanks to global warming we got 5 days last year. ;)

I like the comparisons between different levels of anthropomorphism. Nice work!

So of all species, why a beaver?

    • Link

      Thanks Ransom!
I've actually considered putting this into a an FAQ (that's yet to be made) because you're not the only one who's asked this!

      • "Beather" (beaver) was my first word, and first favorite animal. It was also my favorite animal to imitate as a kid too.

      • I come from a long line of blue-collar industrious people. I myself have a massive work ethic and get goosey over a job well-done.

      • My body-type. Comparing myself to a squirrel (my previous fursona of nearly 6 yrs) which is more small and athletically built, I'm actually rather tall and heavy (in places) lol. I'm more of an Amazon built female then a petite thin one.

      • Female and male beavers both handle the same load and responsibility, even with pups. Being someone who doesn't fall into the gender binary the beaver just works out for me.

      • Beavers have GARBAGE eyesight....so do I lol.

      • Feels at peace/LOVES being submerged.

      • Beavers are often associated with Canada. I myself am not Canadian but I live in Maine where beavers and Canadians are common animals around here, lol. I'm also a huge fan of hockey, which obviously is pretty Canadian of me.

      • Betsy the Beaver... the stuff writes itself.

I always feel like I'm missing something but this pretty much sums it up!

      • Link

Ah yes, I've heard of the wild Canadians native to Maine! All-in-all, the species fits.

  • Link

    She's so cute! :Dc

    • Link

      Thanks!!!

  • Link

    You're welcome! ;)

Thanks! I do too, I'm pretty proud if it. Took a lot of effort. Roy's is proving to be just as hard, and I've been developing his for a couple months already lol. This one once I got the mojo took about a week :3
