Mola Ram: "Kolli ma...Kolli ma, shakthi deh!"
Wait, or would that be... Kolli baa?
Haaaa, so I am finally posting this one, my poster submission for Biggest Little Fur Con, happening this weekend! If you're there, you might see it on a wall somewhere huhu :,D. Full-view for legibility!
This is the project that was partially responsible for murdering me in February and a parody of one of the original posters by Drew Struzan. Everything was recreated from scratch for this paro, but I take absolutely no credit for composition, layout, etc! The Indiana Jones franchise belongs to Lupusfilm, Lucasfilm -err, Disney now I guess.
Folks seem to say ToD was the weakest of the bunch (KoCS don't count, yo), but I have the fondest childhood memories of this one. 'Fond' meaning terror at the eyeball soup scene.
Mucho thanks to Amran and Kieren for being species & title consultants ♥! If you know me, you'll know that making parodies as authentic as possible gives me an unwholesome happiness so I couldn't resist doing this. I don't think I was able to capture the "Drew" look in the end, but it was nice to study his work up close! Detail shot around 33% can be found here.
Largest single digital project I've had yet sob. 300dpi at print size (24 x 36"). Split it into several different files to work on it, and then composited at the end. CAN'T SAVE. SCRATCH DISK IS FULL >:(
About 50 hours, Photoshop, SAI, lack of sleep, lots of love and atrocious punnery. Bonus points if you pick them all out!
I know it's from the wrong IJ movie, but the painfully appropriate quote that's coming to mind right now: "We named the dog Indiana!"
This is fantastically well done, I love it!
Okay, "fantastically well done" was a bit of an understatement. I literally cannot bring myself to remove this submission notification for this from my notifications. I keep finding it again, then coming back to it and staring for another few minutes. All that detail! All that hilariously awesome casting and credits text at the bottom! Ahhhh!

Love it! The colors, the stylization, the puns.. oh it's perfect. Got a great laugh from it and needed that. Awesome, awesome work!
