There was more to this...I tried to add anthro-form Wabi in the background. HATED IT. I'm not good at ferals.......................so I am rarely happy with when I draw feral-form Wabi as well. It's okay...but "cartoony" as usual. Like I told Kilo when I was drawing it--the only thing I liked about this piece is Prelude-form Wabi. That turned out really cute--I don't give him an "actiony" pose very often.............because potatoes don't "action" well, of course. chuckle (That's a joke there, guys. XD) But this time it really turned out well.

So...............33.3333333% success in this pic. XD

Wabi/Despair Dog species belongs to me. :)

That's what you say..............but..................I wish I could draw ferals better! XD

I see no problem with the drawing. It's quite adorable!

I guess I just always lean towards "cartoony" for animals...since...growing up and wanting to work at Disney and all. A part of me wishes I could do a better "wolfish" look, like the artist Idess (I really admire her art!) does. :)

      Thanks so much! :D

Super cute! I agree, it's hard to get multiple figures in a picture to ALL come out well... I've been thinking about cover concepts for Nomad, and although I'd like to do a Disgaea-style "everybody!" picture, I just don't think the dynamics will work.

I sometimes wonder how to get stuff like that to work (especially in those large "Disgaea" group pictures!)...there are times when I've been successful in a group picture (mostly with my old "Sonic" works), but usually I'm not. chuckle I've tried different methods...but my most successful way of doing it is...decide what the overall pose/theme is--then draw each character separately, foreground characters first. (Since with my double-inking method, I can do an initial inking on each character and then pencil in as much details as I want with background ones.) Like this pic...I drew feral Wabi first. Then fit the Prelude one in there...but when it came to anthro Wabi in the back...it just looked "not right". @_@ Kilo told me to just blacken him out--I cut him out instead and erased any afterimages of the cutout in the digital portion. chuckle

      Thanks so much! :D
