Why is fire seen as something so terrible? So destructive?

Fire is elegant. It's beautiful. The patterns, complex geometry that spirals and dances so happily and vigorously, as if it's just enjoying being alive.

Oh, and what life a flame holds!

This was never a big piece, but it did come out very well I think <3 I was just trying out some new things; lighting, ways of drawing, as well as the task of drawing a muzzle with the correct shape. And, of course, playing with fire; man, I loooove flames. They're so much fun to draw!
