A bit of story here: I picked up a woodwick candle recently and was super excited about it. Look them up, its awesome. But I was fiddling with it and was trying to remove a sticker when suddenly my phone and pants were covered in wax... I forgot to blow out the candle first...
And this isn't the first time I have made a mess because of a candle. It seems every one I own eventually either covers me or the room in some way. I really should just stick to incense.

I love these candles so much. They even made a ribbonwick variety! I want to pick one up so badly but they get real expensive quick. I always recommend them to people as gifts X3
I have a tendency to keep it nearby so I can watch it. Both just in case it does something strange, and because I like to listen to it burn. But since its close, I start to fiddle with it and next thing you know I made a mess X3

The woodwick ones had a nice little crackle...like you had a miniature fireplace nearby. :)
I usually keep my candles close by as well. More for the paranoia factor. I admit to being blonde. chuckle

The woodwick candles are AMAZING...I got one for my mom for Christmas and she loved how evenly and smoothly it burned. :)
Maybe once you light a candle you should just leave it be? chuckle
