Ink Viola by Zaezar

Ink Viola

Zaezar

An ink thing I did a few days ago. I had some spare paper around and thought it would be fun to make a large drawing. Cut to me 4 hours later and I had a whole ink thing of Viola!
This is actually one of my larger pieces, sizing in at just under 24in x 18in. I will need to find a place to hang it up now.

That's really gorgeous........it's like one of those classic comic book illustrations. :)

        You're most welcome! :D

I love the old B&W images that are show pen techniques and such. Mark Schultz is probably one of my favorite classic-style comic book artists. Now if only he'd finally do that final issue of "Xenozoic Tales".............! XD

Just looked up the comics (I couldn't find the artist, just a wrestler lol). The art style is very typical of the day, yet is nice to look back on to see how they did things. Very neat checking out the comic!

It got popularized as "Cadillacs & Dinosaurs" (when they made a cartoon of it, which............was kinda watered down of course) and was a post-apocalypic world thing with humans (and very little technology) and dinosaurs in the world together. His dinosaurs are really impressive-looking. :) I think it's been about 20 years now since he promised a final issue? Then at one point when a collected edition came out, he said he probably was never going to do it. wry laugh
