An archeopteryx being reclaimed by nature. With how solid it is, it clearly didn't die from another creature. Yet its chest is bursed open. Maybe it fell from a great height. We may never know for certain. The earth will reclaim it.

A collaboration between me and IrradiatedSnakes (nickvalentine on FA). She did the original sketch, I painted it in. I am personally really proud of this. Probably because I am rather picky with collabs so I know it will get a good result ^^
What was really interesting was the back and forth making the sketch. Multiple levels of "Does this look right" and "that looks like this thing, lets make it like this thing instead." I was worried I was being too nit-picky haha. I hope you had a fun time with the collaboration as well. Lets do this again sometime :D
