Airship - To the azure skies! by Woofle

Airship - To the azure skies!

Woofle

This is one of the more orchestral pieces in the game's soundtrack. As one might guess from the title and the icon, this is the theme for the airship the party gets (which is near the end of the third season.)

Originally , this song came out while I was working on a soundtrack for a game I was hired to work on last year. It didn't end up working out for that, and I held onto it, because it felt special to me. It was always in 3/4 time, but the arrangement was far different... I turned the piece orchestral and sped it up a little to create this! It came out a teeny bit cluttered, but that's okay, I guess.

As with all my crap, it doesn't pick up until 30 seconds in. :V

Yush, that sounds airship to me.
Also, no crap. Maybe a carp, because they taste good, but certainly not crap LOL

      Mmm.. Carp. I'm hungry! D:

A lot of people give me crap over the fact that my songs don't IMMEDIATELY jump into the catchy part, but they're game songs... They shouldn't do that anyway. XD So sometimes, I put a disclaimer like that!

I am used to longass intros. The music I listen to, which is catchy disco stuff by italians of the 80's take their time to reach the good bits, though honestly those intros are cool too. Place to put interesting sounds and whatnot....

Yeah, that's how I feel, too. I like there to be a slow buildup, I like the song to -go- somewhere. It's very boring if it just hops right in. x3

It is one part I am lacking at very much... when I start something I only have the middle section, or a tiny piece of it in my mind, and then I go and enter it... now it could use more stuff, and that is where I fall flat on my rear...

Sometimes, that process can take days, even weeks. A lot of times, the answer lies in having a teeny tiny bit of that catchy part lingering around during your intro, before going into it. Sooometimes, not so much. xD

That sometimes works out, but most of the time my new ideas are completely different and are better off in new tune... and that way I have amassed quite a bunch of single loop tunes hahaha.

Eek! Well, one thing that can work, is trying to smash random ones together! Works for me. xD

I am not yet that good at doing that hahaha
