This was one of the first season 3 songs I worked on. It's also an incredibly old tune (two of them mooshed together, really,) that I hadn't done anything with since around 2004-ish when I was a MIDI-obsessed teenager. A considerable amount has changed on this tune since then, but it has always been a tune about the jungle.

Now that it's being used in Elancia Chronicles, it will be playing on the world map in the jungle areas of eastern New Tykondrus, the archipelago beyond, and parts of Pentala. When the player leaves the jungle areas, the field map theme will revert to normal (hidden link lol.)

It was very fun to work on a theme that was driven entirely by percussion for once. This song is just fun to play, and I hope the fun I had making it translates into fun you have listening to it.
