This is the theme that pertains to the leader of the Order of New Gods, who isn't seen or heard from much until the second season. I don't want to give too much away about this individual, but I will say that not only is an incredibly condescending, sarcastic and vindictive sociopath, he also has a very pure goal -- he wants to save the world.

Considering he is the villain, this might be a bit of a stretch for some players to grasp at first, but it is elaborated on quite a lot in-game, as is he. He's done a lot of horrible things to get to where he is, and will probably have to do hundreds more, either because they please him, or because they'll bring him closer to his goal.
