This theme plays in the Kyrsalyn Outpost, a gnoll-ruled city high atop a bluff in the unincorporated lands to the east of Tykondrus (known as 'the rift' locally) on the Follin continent. [ Map HERE [link] ](https://www.weasyl.com/view/16498)

Kyrsalyn was once an independent city-state before the gnolls declared rule over it after a short skirmish. This was many years ago, and the city is (mostly) peaceful, seeing as the gnolls defend it from bandits and other riff-raff that wander the rift. The city produces finely crafted metal works for the most part, and has a healthy supply of food and water. Often, fog rolls through town, and it needs to be well-lit, even during the day sometimes. Being rather mountainous, it is easy to get lost here.

Still, the various gnoll clans are ill at ease with each other, and this particular clan (one of the largest, the WuShengTai) have their eyes on conquering even more lands and cities under the rule of other clans.
