A prehistoric "bear-dog" based on a mount at the AMNH. A. ingens was the largest known amphicyonid, and lived about 15 million years ago in Nebraska. It probably lived similarly to a brown bear, so I gave it a few bear-like elements to its look. I did make a mistake - tracks show the animal walked moving both legs on one side one after the other, a gait more like a cat than a dog, which I drew it using. Oh well!
