I think the detail in the mages' robes perfectly captures the crumpling feeling of defeat at the hands of those Wizards. AGAIN.
I never made it past the marsh cave on the NES version... Of course, I could beat the GBA remake, but they made it a lot easier.
Just glad you didn't screw yourself by having a thief in your party like I did!

We-ell, thieves DO improve the party's chance to run, if you're so inclined.

I thought they were supposed to do that, but it was glitched and their run chance was the same as anyone else's.

The original NES release was so broken... some of those expensive spells did NOTHING AT ALL

From what I've read, everything a thief is supposed to do is completely broken. They're basically some random villager who conned his way onto your team because he wanted loot.
