I got my new Tablet, and this is the first thing I drew to test it out! (Huion Kamas 16)

First Impression: Very Happy that it didn't change my Lineart. huehe my laptop smaller. Finally a stand that stays up.


Size: 10/10 It's bigger than my previous tablet, which is actually a good thing. Larger screen is healthier for the hand n arm.

Setting it Up: 7/10 Very easy to install and Assign buttons to the Kamvas 16. However, figuring out which plug goes to what was a little difficult. I felt the directions were a tad lacking. I had to quickly peak online. But After that, Everything was super duper easy to understand where everything goes and attaches.

Room it Takes up: It takes up about the same amount of room as my previous tablet. In general, you do need plenty of space to use a Screen Display art tablet.

The Stand: 9/10 AAAAA I have a stand that isn't reliant on the Tension of the Tablet! FINALLY. Minus one point because I want the stand to tilt just a tiiiiny it higher.

The Buttons: 10/10 There are 10 buttons on the Tablet itself, and two on the Pen. ALL are completely configurable including setting the buttons to none. So if you are someone who doesn't like using the pen buttons, you can turn them off.

Control: [don't know how i feel yet] When it comes to drawing control, I think there's three things that stand out that involve pressure sensitivity. The first is that I had a lot more control over my softer and airbrush like tools density via the pressure i used. The second was that I had to up my Pen Tool's correction a tad more because I kept making straight sections in round areas. Thirdly, I am definitelly seeing that my lines Taper more precisely when I lift the drawing pen off the tablet, but also I have to learn to lift a bit sooner now since it seems to be able to read a bit better/longer when I lift off the screen compared to my old tablet. 

Color: Colors on the tablet are a bit more vibrant than my Laptop screen. 

Wires: /10 One Plug goes into your tablet, two into your Computer, and One into the wall. There is also an Extension Cable section for the wall section. Though the various extra wires got me confused and was the reason i had trouble with initial set up, now that I have it all, it is pretty nicely organized. Wish display tablets didn't need so many pluggy ports.

Screen Feel: Pretty nice. i doesn't feel like im drawing on glass, which I know is what a lot of folks worry about initially. It's pretty comfortable to draw on. the PEN has a little bit of give that im not used to. 

Price: TuT a million times cheaper than a frikken Cintiq. oh my gosh. And this is a Newer style. The previous Kamvas line is very similar, screen a bit smaller, and that'd be worth grabbing, too, if you want something even cheaper than the kamvas 16 here.
