I actually continued giving out Valentine's day cards into adulthood, because I enjoyed giving them away. It's only been in the last three or four years that I had not bothered. I would give them to my friends and co workers, and when I was in college I would give them to my instructors, and I guess some people liked getting them, but I quit because it seemed like no one really actually cared, only because I am so oblivious it just took me THAT many decades to notice.
