Realistic Shaded Commission for ReaperBat of FurAffinity of Cyclone, the Dutch Angel Dragon!

You may recognize Cyclone from one of two places - first as an Epic Scene in my first YCH Piece of 2016, and also here as the finished result of my latest YCH Piece of 2016! It was very cool to get to work on this guy again - always a treat to work on characters again in different shots, and Cyclone here is just so fun to work on.

The YCH sketch I did was to emphasize the equine-like anatomy of the Dutch ADs, and Cyclone lent themselves great to it with a neat design and even horse-like dappling markings! This is also one of the most detail-packed pieces I've done recently - Cyclone here is completely furred, each hair being a 3px wide brush! The versions online are too small to show much of this, though. I'm also wickedly happy with those wing feathers. X)

Background inspired by the sort of otherworldly colours and music played on carousels... I imagine it to be like an old-fashioned traveling-troup-like atmosphere, the tent at night lit up by the spectacle below~
