thanks for the critique!
Yeah I was trying to have it somewhat blend in with the background, it is a rock like pokemon after all :) This did give me a good idea though for a future pic tho!

The face is what I read first, but the arm/hand is what I read last. The character blends too closely into the background. If that's what you were going for, you could play up the concept in a more interesting way…
