I think Nathan's turmoil about meeting Alexei in the flesh is quite realistic.
you really know how to write an entertaining, and gripping story!

Certainly considering he's about to meet a giant, let along travel all that way to do so! He's a very brave husky hehe :)

Thank you very much for your words ^^ Really glad to know you've taken to this story ^^

        that's understandable.

            don't be modest!
I've read a lot of stories, and out of 100, I'd rate AOA the #1 story I've had the pleasure of reading!

oh, by the way, I was very intrigued by the concept of the 'normaliser' device, you could have done the 'phone' thing, but you went creative, and 'invented' the voice boosting collar.
it was very interesting, but then, you were able to make use of the 'micros have better technology' stereotype.
eh, whatever, it's still a cool idea.

Well the normaliser system kinda made sense to me, in order to allow Polcians and Velikans to interact with one another in person.

A lot of stories of this nature don't really go into the whole voice difference factor, which is absolutely fine, but I wanted to use this as a way to show one of the ways this world has to act in order to interact :)

The 'micros having better technology' is a stereotype, but it's one that has to exist in some form for a smaller race to live and survive in a world like this - one that has a larger race that has been hostile in some form in the past. Still, to counter that, I tried to also add in some other ways that this imbalance would affect the world in order to add something a little different to this aspect :)

Good to know the normalisers found favour with you~ ^^

        it adds to the realism.

Good to hear! That's the effect I was hoping for :)
