This is a older character of mine that needed some redesign and love. I think I will be designing a land version.

Atatru is a combination of a few different animals. One of ataru's signatures is its tentacle like tongues that glow in the deep waters of the ocean. It lures in fish so its mouth can suck in unsuspecting fish. It's front fins can actually grip objects and close like clawed fingers. It's not quite as accurate but it can be used to climb onto shore to to grip larger prey items. Also it has some axolotl type gills along its neck and head. It has the ability to move them to flare or hide them. Ataru must be careful to keep them wet while on land. It can damage them if they dry out.
