This 1970 Ford Galaxie Model was inspired by an episode of the TV show Pimp My Ride.
Here's what happened: a teenager's grandmother swindled him out of $8,000 for her 1988 Buick Century. Judging by the rust spots, missing accessories, and cigarette butts, it wasn't even worth $80! When a friend told him about the show, he pleaded with the producers to have his car fixed. The result: the West Coast Customs shop replaced the missing accessories, removed the smell of the cigarette butts, repaired the rusty body, and gave the car an "old school '50s style" custom paint job. The colors of that car differed from those of this car, but it still had the scallops.
