-Elementalism: The Philosopher can manipulate air, water, earth, fire, and spirit do devastating effect, to the point of completely obliteration an individual, in body and spirit

-Wanted: The People's Republic considers The Philosopher a fugitive, and he is also sought by just about every supervillain who knows that the philosopher's stone is not a just a myth

Bio: Tse Geming's history is not well known. He was one of the many alchemists during China's dynastic period, living in seclusion and seeking knowledge. The only mention of his name is on a legendary scroll listing those who made the ultimate achievement - the creation of an alchemist's stone.

Modern records of him only appear because shortly before the Red Revolution, Tse fled the country to America. He currently passes himself off as an eccentric feng shui consultant.

Once again, due to his secrecy, little is known about him. One key factor is that he was the major party responsible for the death of the 49th Lilith, and thus is a major target of her daughter.

Personality: As a civilian, Tse is peculiar, to say the least. He hoards string, refers to himself in the third person, and is infamous for having the most hideous tie collection in the state. In private, however, he is astute, wise, and silent, often coming off as very aloof. However, when the time is right, he will often go into action, only to vanish before those he rescues even have time to give their thanks.
