Bio:
Born in Calcutta, India, Indira Jarii was originally just another girl in India, dutifully attending school, helping the parents, and living life normally. That changed in a major way shortly after her 13th birthday, when one of her neighbors was trapped while repairing a bus. To everyone's astonishment, she lifted the entire vehicle, allowing her neighbor to be pulled to safety. The best doctors could find no explanation for her incredible surge of strength, but the local gurus had one: her chakras, the seven mystical centers of energy within the body, were in permanent overdrive. With training, she learned how to not only push herself even further, but also induce this surge of power in others. She registered with the Indian Bureau of Superheroes, taking the codename Mandala, after the colorful wheel used as a meditative aid.

Much to the annoyance of Rajput, the head of the Indian BOS, she proved more than competent at her job, but she was also quite sexually open. Her revealing costume wasn't of concern, but her tendency to constantly flirt with civilians, co-workers, and even criminals proved quite disruptive. Two local Muslim sects decried her as a temptress and a harlot, and she was also caught by the paparazzi sleeping with the son of the Ministry of the Interior. The final straw, however, was when she demonstrated the infamous "Punjabi panty trick" while the Bureau was being visited by the Dalai Lama. Humiliated by her lack of discretion, Rajput not only severely reprimanded Mandala, but also transferred her to America, where her salaciousness would be "less conspicuous".

Personality: Indira is a real firecracker at heart, full of energy and proud of her abilities and her body. She is bisexual and very flirty, though she knows better than to publically reveal too much of her body. She doesn't mind being seen as a sex symbol - in fact, she's rather proud of the attention, and regularly cruises some of the seedier websites for particularly exciting shots of herself. In relationships, she seems to be attracted to flawed individuals, frequently stating that she likes "fixer-uppers". She is also a practicing Hindu, and believes strongly in karma. One of the only ways to offend her is to offer her any food that contains cow meat - especially after she's made it clear that she's Hindu.
