-Cramped: His leaping combat style is severely hampered by claustrophobic environments

Bio:
Pang's parents knew he was destined for something when he was born with green fur, and did their best to raise him as a proper Chinese furson. To their dismay, he was nothing like that. He was rebellious, stubborn, and confrontational, constantly bucking any form of authority and getting into trouble at every opportunity. When his mutations activated, giving him his incredible powers, he initially tried to hide them, but after a stunt where he jumped over several walls, he was located by the Chinese government and quickly spirited away for training in the "special" division of the People's Liberation army

Pang demonstrated a knack for firearms, and a great deal of promise in martial arts. Unfortunately, he continued to be a troublemaker, resulting in frequent reprisals, occasionally even beatings and torture. Eventually, Pang decided he had enough. During a routine training exercise in Tibet, the Pallas cat suddenly broke ranks and fled into the mountains. His innate durability, incredible leaps, and powerful claws enabled him to lose his battalion, survive the Himalayas, and descend across the border into India, where he lived as a thief and a bully for several years.

Eventually, he made the mistake of trying to steal ammunition from a certain black panther. Pang and Sepoy fought viciously, and brought each other near the edge of their endurance, but in the end, the captain brought the thief down and held him at gunpoint. For the next six months, Sepoy taught Pang a long, agonizing lesson in the value of discipline.

The Chinese Army couldn't break him. The Himalayas couldn't break him. But after six grueling months, for the first time in his life, Pang bowed his head in submission. To his surprise, Sepoy had been impressed and pleased with the fellow feline's fighting abilities, and gave him a costume and a new name - Jiang Shi, after the hopping vampires of Chinese legend. He proved to be not only a strong fighter, but a good leader, and is now one of Sepoy's most trusted lieutenants.

Personality: As with all members of the Shiva's Eye fleet, Pang is unwaveringly loyal to Sepoy, and would obey him without question, regardless of the circumstances. Occasionally, however, Jiang Shi will hit upon pet projects and crazy schemes without his captain's approval. For the most part, Sepoy tolerates these shenanigans, but will not hesitate to punish his lieutenant if he makes a fool out of himself. He is mildly claustrophobic, and quickly grows restless in confined spaces, preferring to spend as much of his time in the open as possible. He also finds it hilarious when the superstitious or mystically informed take him for a real hopping vampire.
