        2nd bass in the battery. we just had our second winterline competition saturday night!

        next year my instructor wants me on snare,, it sounds pretty prestigious but i don't know if i'm good enough yet heh...

          dang like everyone I meet online seems to be a bass drummer HEH
          if u want def. go for snare yo. snare is a neat position and I bet you'd have a lot of fun doing it! I don't know too much about battery tho :((
          YEAH last Saturday we had two comps!! we were the only ones in PIA tho so we got first by default in both

            ha, nice! we got 3rd place in our division. we're in open class this year (our school is known for our marching band, but not much of our winterline..)

              aaahh, late reply whoops
              you guys sound nice though! vwv does your perc do WGI or local circuits only?

              • Link

                mm well the thing we're competing in is called "SJV", if that is a valid answer,,,woops
                i don't think we'll be in WGI, but that particular acronym does sound familiar. think it was in one of my friend's tweets. hmm, well i suppose we're just doin local stuff then

                • Link

                  ah, WGI's the int'l circuit; my winterline's going to NorCal regionals for it this weekend actually
                  local circuits are fun too though! good luck on your upcoming comps and everything too ;o;
