A really fun badge for Skyican of their character in a holographic fabric dress and splotched with colours. Was trying something new with this one and while some of it was a mess, I'm really happy with the results! And yes, it glows under blacklight~ Check socials/youtube for progress videos of that coming soon.

The piece was done in copics and pencil crayons, with the exception of the dress, which was actually done in blacklight reactive clothing paints. They are a little thicker than is usually ideal, but I managed to make it work. :3
That sounds interesting! I know the effect looks very cool here—that neon pastel that just makes me think 1980’s! :)
Aaah thank you~ :3 I'm really happy with how it came out in the end. (Posca's saved me from some of the paint mess and I was able to tidy it up. Yay Posca's!)
Me too! I didn’t have a lot of money when my sister took me over to Michael’s Craft & Hobby (for b-day gift ideas the week before my b-day), but when I do have extra money……I want her to take me back so I could buy them and try them out! They seemed to be standard, but lighter tones……not all pastel, but not dark colors (except the black). Michael’s had the largest range of Posca colors/packs that I’ve seen……including the various size tips. :)
I have such a big want, haha. I have some metallic acrylic paints but man, if there was some poscas that are shiny, ohohohohoho >:)
There is a metallic set, too—they’re all darker colors. Well, I except for the gold and silver! A set I got had gold and silver in it and they’re okay, but not quite as shiny as buying the specialty gold and silver pens…..so I’m not sure how the other metallic Posca would look. chuckle
I did just pick up the pack of the glitter ones this weekend—they were smaller tips. Honestly, they’re more like glittery-metallic…..it’s funny, because this glitter set are all brighter colors—and the metallic set are darker colors. So, these glitter ones—I feel—are close to being much like metallic pens as well. I did really like the pink and bright blue of this set! :)

This is pretty cool—did you use watercolors or that glow-in-the-dark kind of acrylics that they have out now? :)
