Rotarr the House Fly Head by Temperance

Rotarr the House Fly Head

Temperance

Commission piece.

A closer look at Rotarr's head.
Head is covered with stretch velvet.

The eyes are a plastic easter egg cut in half and coated with epsilon with red resin dye. The eyes were painted in two layers. One layer was left to cure until nearly dry, then patted with a sponge to get a texture. The second layer was added to smooth out the texture. This makes the eyes have subtle texture to them instead of being a perfect smooth surface.
