14 x 20" color pencil
This was my 4th picture after I started drawing again after 31 years. Perspective? Never heard of it. Anatomy wha' ?
Had no idea what I was doing when I drew this thing but I had fun doing it. The extremely wonky perspective in the window has been somewhat corrected since. I'm lazy and don't do practice pieces and learn as I go. Got a lot of very helpful critique on this one that really helped me head in the right direction. Had a lot of fun doing this one. Finished July 2010.
First piece after getting my new Polychromos pencils. Never went back to the other brand.

Thanks! This piece is currently on a drawing board next to my desk. Four days ago, I went back in and worked on the last of what was really bothering me about the perspective in the window and also fixed the corner of the mouth of the fox on the right so he didn't look so happy. I really am still happy with how this came out and I plan on doing this same scene again, only in, say, 20 or 30 seconds in the future. The tigers tail is cut off by the fox with the sword and all hell broke loose. This is a scene from a storyline I have.
I am also going to do another version of the second piece I did. "Decisions". It is posted in my DA and FA galleries.

Considering it's only the fourth drawing you've done since starting to draw again, it really isn't bad. The premise behind it is actually pretty good, and the characters' expressions are pretty much spot on.
So I guess the TL/DR would be "It's not perfect, but it redeems itself in other ways. I still like it."
