First concepts for my new project!
It’s a leopard seal inspired race (and a couple of leopard seal studies at the top.)
The project I have in mind is a world with numerous sapient species all trying to coexist. I’m still figuring out plots and themes but I’m just having fun designing all the races at the moment!
I might give these guys some whale and bear influences but I still want to keep that streamline look.

Thanks! Yeah they are pretty ungainly on land. I think they'd have to go on all fours if they really needed to run. It would still be a bit floppy lol ><

Thanks! Giant river otters can be pretty scary though >< Seals are pretty cool, I'm surprised there isn't more of them!

I love seeing seal character designs, since they are SO difficult! I love the design aspects here to keep it seal looking but still anthro. Good work!

The design's pretty neat at this point! They definitely look like they'd move better in water than on land.
Kind of imagining a rather silly, floppy gait.
