Volcanoes and Ice Fortresses are two of the must-have locations for supervillain bases. True to his eccentric nature, Daryil has an ice-cream fortress, somewhere in the Arctic circle.

So, here is Daryil having a nice game of indoor mini-golf in his icy retreat, with one of his fox guards. At temperatures around -40 Celsius, the mint chocolate fairway is frozen enough for them not to leave footprints in it. The fox-guard is unfazed by these temperatures owing to the fact that he's now an android, and Daryil himself is element-resistant (*).

This was drawn Friday night by Keetah Spacecat during a livestream. Good luck with the job interview!
Having Keetah design the ice-cream fortress was a little bit mean, but it will help significantly with next chapter of Epsilon, where a similar scene is due to take place. That said, given how intricate her design is, I will have my work cut out anyway...

Keetah's original pic is on FA here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20902901

Daryil and the Fox Guards first appear in my Project Future comic ( http://projectfuturecomic.com ), and in particular the followup, The Epsilon Project, which is available on the same site.

(*)Strictly Daryil himself isn't actually there - as a tri-winged clan leader, he's something like 50ft tall and holed up in a private sanctum somewhere off-plane. He communicates with others by means of constructs animated by his will. Since these avatars aren't wholly alive, they don't have to be bothered by the cold either. It also means he can be in several places at once.
