Chapter 16: Worlds Apart; Day 215

With Fox having gone back to piloting the ship, Krystal was left to plan most of the parties for this next leg of the trip with the crew. While Krystal liked being bigger, she was NOT planning on being the biggest person in the party nor did she necessarily want THAT kind of attention despite having been through worse. At one of the parties she went to, she found some guests who were willing to give her weight a run for its money.

“So you’re Krystal!” the equine greeted her with eagerness, “I’ve heard a lot about you.” She replied with her normal pleasantries that she’d grown to use during these social events. “A shame Captain McCloud isn’t coming out tonight, but I’m sure he must be busy, but my Husband and Daughter ended up being caught up in some of the Ship’s Recreations so they wouldn’t have been able to meet him tonight anyway”

“I didn’t catch your name?” Krystal asked. “My husband calls me Lulu.” Krystal then continued to lead the mare in small talk around the party. While the two of them were getting some food for their next course Lulu spoke up. “My, it looks like you’re eating for two.” She chuckled at her little quip. “But I am serious, it’s nice to see a lady that can appreciate a little padding on the body.”

Krystal then added nervously “Oh I actually AM pregnant…although it doesn’t excuse ALL of the weight, does it?” “Oh, it’s fine,” Lulu interrupted to try to reassure her, “Do I look like I’d mind? Really, you look great. “The Vixen was surprised with her laidback nature, “Thanks…. It makes me feel better.”

“Any time,” Lulu replied. “We actually have the Regal Suite booked, so hopefully he’ll have an easier time finding us.” Krystal smiled “I’m sure he’d be happy to, He could really use it after dealing with some rude guests and crew. He might be strong, but I don’t think even he anticipated everything with this ship when he took the job.”

The two headed off elsewhere and Lulu replied with. “I’m sure he’ll come around soon enough.”
