Above is the ILMW OVC-5T3 tram, a simple automated vehicle designed to fit many roles providing transportation from breathable, atmospheric planets to vacuum environments experienced on state-owned starships in the harshness of deep space. These trams rank above very similarly-looking busses and below metro systems in the grander scheme of infrastructure hierarchy. The most significant improvement of this particular class was the perfection of safe electrified (third) rail which eliminated the overhead wire trapeze. These vehicles also provide transport to remote facilities in the city's area, be it a mine, factory, or other pieces of critical infrastructure.

Trams can easily be expanded and adapted with more cars, allowing an increase in size without complication.
