Chapter 5: Ravine Skirmish

A week or so later, Aero and Sakura went back to ACIPD to recieve orders of another piece of the Estrella Diamond inside a ravine.

"Are you ready Aero?" Sakura asked.
"Ready."

They were just about to take off when they were stopped by Yuesbi.

"Stop, I want to come." he said.

"We're not supposed to bring nonmembers on trips like these." Sakura said.

"But you two are like older siblings to me. I want to come with you." he pleaded.

"Ok" Aero said. So the three of them went to the ravine on the surface of Velbus.

Upon arrival, they found several more goons searching for the diamond shard inside the ravine.

"Ok here's the plan." Aero started.

"should we just go and attack them? Ok." Yuesbi said.

"No! Don't..." Sakura tried to say, but Yuesbi had jumped out of hiding and attacked the goons.

"You two again? And you brought a small friend along?" a goon asked?

"Hey, he is only with us for this mission." Aero said.

"Oh well. This is gonna be fun. Get em, boys!" the goon said.

The goons engaged our heroes. Aero and Sakura fought back, but the explosions scared Yuesbi, so he ran off to another part of the ravine. After running for a while, he found a cyan glow and saw that it was like a crystal glowing in the dark. It had to be a part of the Estrella Diamond. Excited, Yuesbi grabbed it and ran back.

Meanwhile, Aero and Sakura were busy fighting the enemy, but couldn't hold up for much longer. When Yuesbi arrived, he was on the other side of the fight from our heroes. Without thinking, he yelled, "Look what I found!"

The goons heard him, and fought him for the jewel. Yuesbi was small and agile, but when the goons came up with a plan to ambush him, they tripped him while he wasn't looking and he dropped the diamond. Before he could get up, a goon snatched up the shard. "Thank you for the piece" he said. "Vaxtus will be happy." Then all the goons took off.

When Aero and Sakura found Yuesbi, he explained how he found a piece of the diamond, but then said that the villains had it.

"See what you did? This is exactly why we don't bring you on this type of stuff." Aero scolded.

"I was only trying to help..." Yuesbi said.

"Never mind." Sakura said. "Let's head back to Atmo City."

So the heroes went home without the diamond piece.

Yuesbi(thinking): I want to prove that I'm not useless to these two. They're my idols.
