Chapter 4: Digging for Diamonds

A few days later, Aero and Sakura, went to ACIPD after recieving an emergency response from the chief.

"We're here." Sakura said. "What's going on?"

"You know Vaxtus? He sent some of his goons to dig up a section of the land of Velbus below."

"Those look like the guy that attacked me and Sakura a little while ago. Why are they digging?" Aero said.

"They are looking for a piece of the Estrella Diamond they believe is in that area." The chief said. An image of the diamond was displayed also showing its ability to separate into 6 pieces. The central piece of it resembled a star. "The Estrella Diamond is a powerful artifact that can allow one to remake all of reality, and it can separate into 6 pieces to prevent misuse."

"So" The chief said "You need to go there and stop them and retrieve the piece of diamond that is there."

"Ok" Aero and Sakura said. So they took off towards their destination. Upon arrival, they say a bunch of goons exactly like the one they saw at the laboratory. They were digging around in the ground using shovels.

"They're using shovels to dig up the diamond shard." Sakura said.

"I'll stop them." Aero said.

"No, wait. Don't" Sakura tried to say.

But Aero had used his machine guns to shoot and destroy one of the goons. And it got the other goons' attention.

"Hey, it's those two Jetroids from the laboratory." one of the goons said. "Let's get them."

"Ok, attack them now." Sakura said.

A battle ensued in the forest with missiles blowing up trees and bullets firing everywhere. Our heroes jumped and dodged to avoid being hit by attacks. It was only when Aero used missiles to bring down a giant tree that the last of the goons fell.

"Everyone's gone" Aero said. So he and Sakura grabbed some shovels and started to dig for the diamond piece. After a long time of digging, they found a cyan jewel in the shape of a star. Aero and Sakura picked it up.

"We got it, let's head back to Atmo City." Aero said.

So he and Sakura returned to Atmo City.
