"Cloud... Remember to not stroll too far into the forest, alright? You too, Jade." Minny warned them for the 4th time that day.
"I'm sorry, mother..." Jade whimpered, looking from side to side.
"What would your father say if he found out?" Minny scowled.
Cloud's fur stood up on end
"NO! YOU CAN'T TELL HIM!" He screeched.
"I have to. It's for your safety and your behaviour problems."
"Please, mother! We'll be good!" Jade cried. "We won't wander off we promise!"
"Too late, kits. We have to make sure your life isn't in danger ever again." Minny shook her head and walked into the house to tell Dagger.
"Jade. We have to go." Cloud mumbled
"No- but mother said- father will--" Jade whined.
"Exactly. If we're gone, they'll never be able to punish us!"
"..." Jade looked back, staring at the fence that separated their house from the supposedly "dangerous" forest. "But... How will we do it?"
"Remember the path we always go? We'll go there, but intead of turning back, we'll keep going!"
