Background story

"Firepaw. I am not letting you kill any more LavenderClan warriors. Leave now, and we will leave you in peace."
"It's Firemoth now." The ginger she-cat growled. "And I'll tell you. You never left me at peace. I was exiled for doing what I never did."
"They gave you a warrior name?" Snakestar said in disbelief. "SpringClan must be insane!"
Firemoth growled and stepped forward, her fur bristling.
"And I'll kill you. Right here, right now."
"You can't take away all my 8 lives..." Snakestar arched his back and unsheathed his claws.
"Who told you I couldn't? I took Rainstar's remaining 4 lives. I can take away your remaining 8." Firemoth stepped closer and closer.
Snakestar's eyes slit, and with a loud hiss, he lunged at Firemoth and bit into her scruff. He pinned her down with one paw, claws out, his tail lashing aggressively.
"Snakestar...!" Sundewblaze came running and stopped in his tracks. Snakestar hissed and looked at his deputy.
"Don't come any closer, Sundewblaze! I'll handle her! You try to keep the rest of the SpringClan warriors away!" He yowled. While he was talking, Firemoth squirmed and slid out of Snakestar's grip. He fell back with a startled meow.
And with her sharp claws, she cut the leader's stomach, leaving a deep, bloody gash.
"F-Firemoth..!" Snakestar hissed, though he was almost bleeding out, he didn't stop. Taking a few staggering steps, he approached Firemoth and before he could claw her eyes out, he collapsed, and his eyes began to glaze over. Again and again, Firemoth killed him, until Snakestar was down to his last life.
"No... I refuse to die like this!" Snakestar rasped.
"Too late." Firemoth finished him.
"FIREMOTH!" Sundewblaze ran towards her, knocking her over. "You're gonna die. You're gonna die right here, right now!"
Snakestar saw as Firemoth raised her paw, ready to strike Sundewblaze the same way she struck him. But she didn't. She stopped. Put her paw down, growled and fled.
