First time I've ever done Guild Wars 2 fanart (come to think of it, fanart of any MMO or fantasy game other than Pokemon and that one time with Zelda in high school...). Started this and did a lot of the details in my itsy bitsy sketchbook on the plane on the way to Alaska, then when I came home decided to finish and refine it. 99% of it was done from memory alone and ended up being accurate so I'm pretty proud of that. I'm afraid this is not going to be the last you'll see of art from this game.

Most characters I make in the MMOs I've played I simply translate existing personal characters onto it, so this'd be my dragon scholar Quinrothee Asura-fied. I kind of wish I could have colored this, since she's all shades of green and purple...

Despite how small this is, it still took quite a bit of time. I have no idea how many hours though, since it was spread out between several plane rides, camping and then another several hours here. Graphite and blending stump, 3.5''x5.5''.
