Tribal 'Troids by Sparkyopteryx

Tribal 'Troids

Sparkyopteryx

Not a commission for a specific person per se, but I want to post it regardless because it's a good example of simple tribal work I do for commission purposes.

Done with a purple brushpen, a few Derwent Studio pencils and a dying blue Prismacolor marker...

Art and design is mine and isn't free stock! Metroid the game and the creatures known as metroids are copyright to Nintendo.

    God I still love this.

Would love to have something similar as a tattoo on me. <3

Same here actually. I'm still meaning to do one of Ridley, Samus and Dark Samus. I'm procrastinating bad. If you're ever in the market for an artist to design a Metroid-themed tattoo, I'm your go-to woman; I love drawing Metroid fanart.

But all they want is your face and delicious life energy! ...Seriously, I'm a little weird for thinking they make the cutest damn sounds.

The Prime Trilogy were a brilliant trio of games, to be sure.

        Nothing weird about it :3

Just used to swamp me when i was looking at stuff, and i'd be dead in 10 seconds flat.

I wonder if they know the chest bursters from Alien, as they seemed to love bring clued to your darn face as well >.<

Well, considering the developer/creator of Metroid actually made the game after he was inspired by Alien and the character Ripley, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

            Really? I never knew that.

Anyhow, sorry for invading your stuff and turing it into a little convo. Feel free to remove said comments.

Yep! The other half told me about it.

Pfah, I have no problem with it. I'd rather have a huge comment tree than a boring, blank page.
