Irish dastardly duo

Sparkyopteryx

Something I did in only a couple days while I've been working off and on a large commission. If anyone has been following me for at least a month or more now you probably recognize these guys as representations of mine and MisterMidnight Irish mobster duo. The idea struck me like misguided lightning (at least initially) and I ran off with it. The result ended up being a lot better than what was in my mind, and for this I'll take it as a good sign...

I am now taking commissions like this all through till the end of March! Details in this journal! I'm going to be doing them as couple's images (as above) as well as single character.

I really wanted this to truly be a mixed media piece, so all of the tools I used for this one were: Tombow brushpens, Derwent and Prismacolor pencils, Prismacolor markers, Stabilo pens, white gel pen and Staedtler pigment liners. Done freehand on a grid before transferring to heavy Aquabee sketch paper; finished product is 9x12. Character representations belong to myself and MisterMidnight

This is amazing. That is all I can say.

A gorgeous galvanizing to my ganders!

The jewelry was a great touch, I think.

What a lofty, loving loquacious 'literation I'm leering at!

Yes it was; I strive to put in little personal touches to all the couple's pictures I do.
