These are the inks of the first commission I got of Sir Kain ever, which I have posted here - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/2885152/
I remember seeing this for the first tone very well, as I was completely new to art even existing that folks in the fandom drew. And when I asked Mi1ez to draw up Sir Kain using that text description I had, I thought it would take a while before saw anything.
My senior year of high school started on September 4 1995, a Monday. I was groggily waking up from the alarm to get ready to go on the bus for first day of high school when I was checking my email. I saw one from Mi1ez and said had done the inks up…. And when I downloaded the attachment I was blown. Away. OMG. I was on such a high thinking about that pic most of that day that I forgot where most of my classes were haha!
And this experience got me hooked on wanting to commission artists ever since. So you got him to thank or blame for that!

You seriously made one hell of an impression on me. You're also who I first met on Furtoonia or one of the very first.. because I was 'sent' there to find other sonic fans who roleplayed on the internet. and you were Sonic on Furtoonbia at the time IIRC haha., then you show me your art... tell me what Commissions meant. and thats it. look what you created!
But yeah, ive seen quite a few over the decades either not get the encouragement ot keep drawing, or some shitty, terrible people ruined it for them. I know Fuzzybear had a well known artist int he fandom shit on his artwork IN PERSON, and made him quit drawing forever right there. That shit sucks, and it angers me to see folks have a passion they got into, be ruined from a couple of people.
If you ever choose to doodle again, let me know. i'd be curious to see what stuff hits y our muse these decades. I may try for the umpteenth time to draw again, but not gotten the push to make me wanna try just yet.

Wow, really? I don't think I remember that story. Haha.. I sometimes miss doing artwork. I wish more people had been as appreciative about artwork as you have been all along to myself and all these artists, or I might have stayed in the loop and continued doing more but it took a few exceedingly bad abusers to make me stop doing artwork cold-turkey. It's been many years since drawing this on paper and scanning into that ol' 486DX4/100MHz PC with that big HP Scanjet flatbed SCSI scanner and years after this got posted again online by you, and I can't properly express how much that story made my day.
