In the last two days I messed around with one of these "draw every hair" fur tutorials. It's without using the smudge tool. And it was a complete failure though it was a good practice.
Afterwards I felt really mad and just wanted to do something spontaneous. At first a complete different, more sketchy method to get rid of some energy but instead I tried it with hours of smudging and colouring. It's not finished yet but I'm going to work on that tomorrow or next week. If I can manage that cat, I can do everything. ^^

Oh and it's vaguely based on Abyssinian cats though the head is too long for it. I didn't focus on the correct anatomy that much, so there are probably more mistakes. Feel free to give me critique in the comment but please be aware that I won't change this specific picture anymore because of its progress. However, commenting is not a waste of time: I'll keep it in mind for the next cat I'm going to draw. :)
