I rarely do anything bloody in my pics, but as this was a major event in Shinden's history, I felt it was warranted. If you dont like blood, dont look.

September 1938 - 40,000ft over Nanking China

Covering the evacuation of friendly ground forces, the Flying Tigers are entangled in a vicious battle over the bombed out city below. The last line of defense against the overwhelming numbers of Japanese aircraft, the twisting twirling battle becomes a bloody fight to the death. One by one the Tigers are cut down, eventually leaving Shinden as the sole remaining dog in the fight. Out numbered, alone, aircraft severely damaged, and bleeding heavily from a wound in his leg, he continues to fight as long as he can, making sure that he at least takes a few of the enemy with him.

This is kinda a prelude to more. I'd like to do more serious non round stuff relating to Shinden's past. About time I begin ironing that out.
