I love going up against the many different types of Spiderants in Borderlands 2, but my favorite are the fire elemental type, they are pretty good if you can lure them into a group of baddies you want dead fast.

As a flame dude himself, Scorch was a pretty nasty piece of work Boss status wise but I didn't like his visual design too much.

Enter my new design for him. I did leave the back spines even if I changed them up a bit, and gave him a smaller head but bigger legs and body. On his front legs I gave him some pincers so he can grip on surfaces that are not that easy for his kin to climb on.

This Scorch can do all the attacks of the game version, plus can spit a sticky wad of flaming goo at any surface, that sets aflame when disturbed, like something steps in it or the wind blows too hard XD

I didn't add body flame to the picture so that you can see his details, but in my mind he does light up on fire when agitated, that's how you can tell if he is engaged in combat or not, if he isn't aflame then he is idle.
