The name, Tirneleth, means 'Star-Gazer'.

This pendant is made of fine silver and swarovski crystals. There are six 6mm purple aurora borealis swarovski crystals wound in fine silver wire through fine silver jump rings to form this beautiful pendant.

The pendant measures 3/4 of an inch wide.

Fine silver is 99.9% silver, unlike sterling, which is only 92.5% silver. Fine silver is far more tarnish resistant. This fine silver is full hard temper, which is the equivalent of half hard temper for sterling silver, which is what most sterling silver chainmaille tends to be. As with ANY silver, it is a softer metal than aluminum or stainless, so of course, you must be more caring with it, as you would with any fine jewellery.
