I mostly just wanted to better flesh-out my hedgehog character Ariel, since for the longest time, even though she was technically a character of mine, she never really had any kind of bio or backstory to really speak of. Until I made up some of these notes, that is. =3

But anyway, the basic gist of the character is that she's kind-of a rocker/punk chick, who works at a music store (mostly selling vinyl records and instruments) and greatly enjoys watching MLP: FiM, as well as reading the comics (though she'll never, ever admit to being a fan). =p

Also, when it comes to any and all future hedgehog characters that I'll possibly develop later in the future, it should be noted that hedgehogs, porcupines and similar species won't technically have quills. Their hair may grow in a fashion that's considered to be "naturally spikey", but overall, it's not anything that most people would have to worry about getting injured by.

Furthermore, their hair will just grow out of their heads (like all of my other anthro characters); however, many hedgehog characters will have impressive manes-worth of hair, as a means to better show that they're hedgehogs.

Anyway though, I hope you guys like the concept. :)
