"...Do you have a darker side? A side that you cannot forgive yourself for? Is that why you can't hate me?"

I did some colour pencil drawings of characters from the "Alice in the Country of Hearts" series, so here's the sleepy dormouse, Pierce Villiers. I initially found him to be such an adorable character. I was a little surprised to find those yandere tendencies (though definitely not some full-blown yandere poster child), but if anything, it's probably because most of Wonderland is racist towards mice and rats (with a few exceptions), and he does have the legitimate fear of being eaten. Or because he's the gravedigger. Or he's constantly harassed by the Bloody Twins. Or that he has insomnia. Or that a mafia boss hates him just because Pierce prefers coffee over tea. Man, you know those characters that make you feel all horrible and stuff when something bad happens to them - your babies - Pierce is one of those.

I was using the Verithin line of Prismacolors, so they're drier but sharper than the standard Prismacolor fare. Unfortunately, my scanner was fighting with my so his hat is a little blurry instead of having all those wonderful details. Still, I mean, look at that face!
