Somewhere along the painful process of coming up with a markings scheme that didn't stomp on anyone else's toes, my brain went "coloured lineart's a great idea =D"

Needless to say, I don't listen to my brain anymore >_>;

I lost count how many layers so far, but it's a LOT. I really do like his headfeathers though, even if I botched the rachis on every single one of them. I have a bad habit of realising that I've botched something after everything else is done, ha. I do own those pants, wristbands and hoodie, btw (just minus that star print - mine has a plaid print with a black embroidered tiger). The hoodie is mainly for the summer season though (sleeveless, sadly), so Aurie got it as a mainstay look for himself. The goggles were a gift from his gal pal, Sally, and best mate, Eosphoros. I have a pair lined up for Chellios's SG1 cosplay (October/November 2014), so those will be employed later by Aurie for his future fullsuit.

I hurt. No lie, my wrist is killing me something shocking right now. The joys of an Aussie winter and not having a great deal of blood circulation in my hands. My wrist brace is currently working overtime and so's my heatpack!

But this was worth it. It's the first set of artworks I've worked on since my medical health/work pitfalled and I'm quite happy with how it's turning out so far :)
