...but these gentlemen do it in style!

I've seen some interesting things on this vacation, but this takes the cake. Three hikers in frocks at the Summit Building. I knew I had to get their photo or no one would believe me.

As for why they did this, it became apparent when one of the men handed me a card to get a copy of the photo. They're with HIKE For Mental Health, a cause that raises money and awareness for mental illness using hiking.

Wearing dresses was the point. You see these guys, ask what's up with the frocks, and learn about their cause. It worked with me cause I'd otherwise never have noticed them among all the other hikers there (especially when they have to compete with an oddball wearing this hat.

Now, you might think "OK, they wore dresses for a charity, seen that before."
These guys hiked in those dresses up the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail, 4.5 miles, 3800ft elevation gain. And the temperature on the summit was about 43 degrees at that time, 29 if you count windchill.
