still obscenely happy with this one. i don't hear a lot of dubstep using shuffly rhythms, which is a shame, because it's a lot of fun (and funky as hell)! tempo changes rock, too! vocals are sampled from Stranger in Moscow and retuned/retimed to suit.

    I found that I really liked it up until the drop at 2:50 where it kind of lost me. That particular kind of massive synth against frantic drum loops strikes me as electro-by-numbers, whereas everything up until there felt rather fresh by comparison.

      the sounds are typical of darker drum n bass, yeah (not electro, certainly), but it's a sound i've always related to tension since i started listening to Renegade Hardware releases in the early 00s, so it found its place here :) it ain't always about being new and fresh, just about doing what feels right for the thoughts or ideas at hand!
