Not to say they're all completely established (though there are certainly plenty of minor characters I know "too much" about considering their importance), but again, it all comes with filling a world. Bystanders, parents, bosses, coworkers, baristas, etc.

I could write entire biographies on some of them, and some I am only acquaintances with; but these are things that change with whims and inspiration, and I'm always ready to learn more about the countless people in my head.

    I see, and understand.

Hrhr, I already thought about asking that, too.
I have many characters in mind, too but often don't find the time or inspiration to really develop them. Though I wouldn't really count background actors as own characters. I even don't do it with some protagonists of pictures but maybe I should change that. Some of these have potential. :)
However, it's nice to hear another opinion about that. Also I like it when people really fill a place for the atmosphere although it can be a pain in the neck to bring so many characters into a picture.
