Chimera cub by Quirachen

Chimera cub

Quirachen

This is one out of two works I did through this year at ceramic class in school.

I’m really happy with how it came out, not to mention the patience my teachers had during all of its’ making. I’ll sure miss them.

-White clay
-Cupric oxide
-10 - 14 hours total

Oh wow! This is so intense looking, I absolutely love every etching you made here. It really does look nice.

Adorable! I love that it captures that sense of tiny, adorable ferocity that baby animals try to convey (while failing to be intimidating in any way, shape, or form.)

And this is ceramics? Dang. If it's the kind of clay I'm picturing, I always had the worst trouble with mine flopping over and ruining hours of work. This came out wonderfully, though. :3
